- Place card one in the center of this tarot spread, representing the situation and the issue.
- Set card two horizontally on top of the first card.
- Place card three above card one.
- Put card four below card one, where it represents the future of the issue.
What is a tarot spread?
A three-card spread has the reader pull three cards from the deck after it’s been shuffled and halved by the querent (more on that in a moment). Usually, the first called pulled represents the past, the second represents the present, and the third represents the future.
How many tarot cards should I pull a day?
You can pull one or three cards at a time. I prefer to pull three to tell a whole story. Being that we all have different relationships with each card, the connection you feel with it will best explain the information being shown to you. Think of yourself as a painter, using your knowledge as the brushstrokes.
Should I let people touch my Tarot deck?
Ultimately, it is up to the owner to decide what they feel most comfortable with. If you don’t want anyone else to touch your cards, then simply say no and explain why. It’s important to be respectful of other people’s beliefs, too.
